Masterworks & Mindfulness at the HIGH
Masterworks & Mindfulness – Unplug and recharge in the museum!
Each Masterworks and Mindfulness class is ticketed separately and includes admission to the Museum. Space is limited.
Explore mindfulness practices and their benefits using works from the High’s permanent collection as inspiration and points of focus. Led by certified mindfulness practitioner, Charisse M. Williams, you will learn to quiet your mind, relax your body, and see the works of art at the museum with new eyes.
Techniques like “close looking” and conscious breathing will facilitate your engagement with the works of art and help you become more attuned to your inner world. Through self-reflection and discussion, you will also have the opportunity to build community with the other program participants.
This program is for anyone who wants to slow down, learn more about mindfulness, and experience the High Museum in a new way. No experience is required. Just come as you are, and leave feeling recharged!
