Know Before You Go
Trick-or-treating
Boo at the Zoo is designed to create special memories for your family, not necessarily to bring home the biggest haul of candy. Kids can expect to visit about a dozen treat stations, collecting one piece of candy at each. Please note, trick-or-treating is intended for children only and will be available while supplies last.
Beat the crowds
The last weekend of Boo at the Zoo is certainly the busiest. Regardless of which day you come, arrive early! Gates will open at 9:30 a.m.
Plan for the weather
Boo at the Zoo is rain-or-shine. In the event of rain, some activities may be delayed or cancelled.
The scare factor
Boo at the Zoo décor includes mostly friendly spooks!
Adult costumes – Be merry not scary!
Adults are welcome to dress for the occasion. However, we do not permit adults to wear masks, clown outfits or scary costumes. All other costumes are up to Zoo Security’s discretion.
Treats are while supplies last!
Boo at the Zoo is FREE for Zoo Members and children under 3; FREE with general admission.
