Labor Day weekend looks a little different this year but that doesn’t mean fun can’t be had! Our team has come up with a list of fun things to do this Labor Day, all at a social distance.
Stone Mountain Park: As part of a Labor Day special, tickets to Stone Mountain Park are currently on sale for $14.95 with access to Scenic Railroad, Dinosaur Explore, Historic Square and Mini Golf. A great activity for the kids!
North Georgia Wildlife Park: Take a drive-through safari and see camels, zebras, ostriches and more from the comfort of your car. Walk through the zoo area on a guided tour and visit the petting farm’s animals; visitors can also book an animal experience for an up-close look at lizards, chameleons and other reptiles. Picture the Dream: The Story of the Civil Rights Movement through Children’s Books: Enjoy more than 80 artworks show the power of the Civil Rights Movement and how it shaped history and the present. Sept. 5-6. Masks must be worn. For tickets click here.
Cloudland Canyon: Take a day trip and enjoy a hike to one of the top 10 waterfalls in the state! This 6-mile hike from the east rim will bring you to the canyon floor, among massive boulders and ancient hemlocks. For more information click here.
